Both get your business noticed. The difference is how long you want the signage on the vehicle.

Magnetic van & car signs.

  • Fit in seconds with no tools, and lift off whenever you like: evenings, weekends or when the van’s off duty.
  • Fully reusable. Take them off and put them back on as often as you need, or move them to your next van or car when you change vehicle.
  • Need flat steel panels to grip, so not suitable for aluminium, plastic or fibreglass bodywork.

Vinyl van signs.

  • Applied directly to the bodywork for a crisp, permanent, sign-written finish.
  • Not removable like magnetic signs. Vinyl stays on for the life of the vehicle. It can only be taken off carefully with a heat gun, and can’t be reused.

Buying guide

How to buy van signs online.

FLG makes vehicle signage for UK tradespeople and small fleets: plumbers, electricians, builders, cleaners, landscapers and anyone whose van or car is their best advert. Here is what to know before you order.

Read the full FAQ

Which van signs should you buy?

Buy magnetic van signs if you want signage you can lift off after work, share the van or move to your next vehicle. Buy vinyl van signs when the van is always on the job and you want the permanent, sign-written look. For company cars and smaller vehicles, magnetic car signs come in two sizes and are sold per sign.

Designed to suit your make and model.

Tell us your van and we design your signs around its available panel space, so they sit neatly on the bodywork rather than floating in the middle. Magnetic signs are sized and shaped to suit the panel, with clearance around curves, trims and handles, while vinyl graphics are sized and positioned to look their best on the panels. We hold panel templates for the popular trade vans: Transit, Transit Custom, Vivaro, Trafic, Sprinter, Crafter, Berlingo, Partner and more, with new models added as they land.

Pick your product

Free design and a proof before we print.

Design is included with every order. Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll automatically receive our online design form, with a link emailed to you to complete whenever you’re ready. Upload your logo, or simply tell us your business name and trade plus the phone number, website and services you want shown, and our designers lay it out. You get up to 3 free revisions and nothing goes to print until you have approved the proof.

How design works

Made in Britain, built for the road.

Magnetic signs are printed on 0.85 mm premium vehicle-grade magnetic sheet with a pull of 56 g/cm², designed to stay on at motorway speeds when fitted correctly and rated for up to 3 years outdoors. Vinyl graphics are cut from durable cast vinyl and supplied as a fit-it-yourself kit. Everything is produced in our UK studio and delivered free within 3 to 5 days of approval.
